Aggregate recycling facility refused due to lack of need in area of outstanding natural beauty

Kent County Council has refused to allow the siting of an aggregate recycling facility for a temporary period of five years at Wrotham quarry, near Maidstone, concluding that a need for the facility had not been demonstrated.
