Battery storage proposal gets favourable recommendation

Planning officers at Aberdeenshire Council have recommended approval of a proposal for a 49.9MW battery energy storage system (BESS) and associated infrastructure on farmland to the north east of the settlement of Drumlithie and north of the A90 road.
