Biomass energy plant to move Scotland nearer to national targets

The Scottish Ministers accepted their reporter's recommendation and granted consent for a biomass electricity generating station at the Port of Grangemouth, Falkirk, with an electricity generating capacity of up to 120 MW, finding that it would make a significant contribution to renewable energy targets.
