Builder's workshop incongruous and out of scale

Notwithstanding a site benefited from a LDC in north-west London confirming that it could be used as a dwellinghouse and for the storage and repair of plant and machinery, an inspector refused to allow the owner to erect a workshop building concluding that it would harm the character of the area and the amenity of local residents.
