Coal reclamation allowed subject to ecological protection and mitigation measures

Nottinghamshire County Council has approved an application for the excavation of 40,000 cubic metres of coal fines from a lagoon at the former Bilsthorpe colliery, which closed in 1997 and which had been partly redeveloped into a business park.
