Drax's 299MW former mine-based power station approved

The £90m Milbrook Power station in Bedfordshire has been rubber stamped by the energy secretary. The open-cycle gas turbine power station will be built by power company Drax on an eight hectare site on a former clay mine in Rookery Pit South.
