Dry recycling facility in Skegness approved, subject to conditions, despite odour concerns

Lincolnshire County Council has resolved to approve (subject to conditions being agreed) an application for the continued use of a dry recycling operation including an in vessel composting (IVC) facility and anaerobic digestion (AD) plant. The Executive Director for Communities stated that it was possible to add conditions to address odour as the amenity of the local area could be affected. Officers had recommended refusal because of potential impacts on residents within 250m.
