EA 'should get veto on hazardous waste'

The draft national policy statement (NPS) on hazardous waste needs to be redrafted to clear up ambiguities and to give the EA effectively the power of veto over any such development it advises against because of potential flood risk, a House of Commons select committee is claiming.
