Edge of town health centre would harm countryside

A Bedfordshire town council was disappointed in its hopes for a new health centre and sports pitches together with changing facilities and car parking on the edge of the town, an inspector finding that the scheme would harm the appearance of the countryside and might adversely affect nature conservation interests.
