Fee for interventions starts this week

Mining and waste companies who break health and safety laws could liable to pay costs of at least £124 per hour for work the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has to carry out in response, after the HSE's cost recovery scheme known as Fee for Intervention (FFI) came into force this week.
