In R (on the application of Frack Free Balcombe Residents Association) v West Sussex County Council [2014] EWHC 4108 (Admin), a residents' association challenged a mineral planning authority's decision to grant planning permission for the exploration and appraisal of an existing hydrocarbon lateral borehole.
