Government commits £200,000 to precious metal recycling

The government is to commit £200,000 in new money to local businesses who come up with new ways of re-using the hundreds of millions of pounds of precious metals it claims are being thrown away every year when electrical goods such as mobile phones and laptops are scrapped.
