Historic suspension bridge impact acceptable

The impact of a 17.5 metre high monopole within a Bristol conservation area on the siting of a grade I listed suspension bridge above the river Avon, was assessed and ruled to be acceptable by an inspector who concluded that it would not be dissimilar in appearance to road lighting columns.
