Infrastructure must assume central role after the election

Chancellor George Osborne's first speech after the Conservative's general election win was focused on infrastructure. In Manchester he extolled the virtues of a northern powerhouse - in the form of a joined up landmass including Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield and Liverpool.
