Interview: James Cleverly - Chairman, London Waste and Recycling Board
In February James Cleverly, London Assembly member for Bexley and Bromley replaced mayor Boris Johnson as chairman of the London Waste and Recycling Board (LWRB). The board, established in September 2008, is tasked with reducing London's waste production, increasing the levels of reuse and recycling and encouraging methods of collection, treatment and disposal of waste that are more beneficial to the environment.
