Landfill ban could divert £70m from Scotland to England, says OBR

Scotland’s 2021 ban on landfilling biodegradable municipal waste is likely to reduce Scottish landfill tax receipts by £70m a year and divert the proceeds to the rest of the UK, according to the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR).
