Noise concerns lead to dismissal of scrap metal yard appeal

An inspector has dismissed an appeal against the refusal of permission for the change of use of a former storage yard to a scrap metal yard at a site in Middlesbrough, sharing the council's concern that a noise survey had been incorrectly carried out.
