Norfolk Core Strategy and Minerals and Waste Development Management Policies DPD - October 2010 Update

A report recommending amendments to a number of policies and supporting text in the pre-submission Core Strategy and Minerals and Waste Development Management Policies DPD was agreed by Norfolk County Council's Cabinet meeting on 13 September 2010, and ratified by the meeting of full council on the 27 September 2010. A second pre-submission call for representations on soundness and legal compliance will be held on the revised core strategy. This will run from the 22 October 2010 to 17 December 2010. During the consultation on the further issues and options (preferred options) a number of changes to proposed minerals and waste sites have been made; also some new mineral and waste sites were proposed during the consultation. A summary of these sites including boundaries can be found at www.norfolk.gov.uk/consumption/groups/public/documents/ general_resources/ncc075473.pdf Since the start of the further issues and options consultation a number of sites have been withdrawn from the process. Currently, there is a representation period underway on the Norfolk Minerals and Waste Development Framework.
