Permission granted on appeal for filling of unauthorised clay extraction in the greenbelt

The infilling of a three metre deep excavation in a Nottinghamshire greenbelt with inert waste has been approved by an inspector, who concluded that, while it amounted to inappropriate development, very special circumstances had been proven.
