Pizza outlet rejection on character and amenity ground

The change of use of a shop in east London to a pizza outlet was held to adversely impact on the character of a conservation area and the amenity of local residents. In so concluding an inspector nonetheless held that it would not lead to an over-concentration of such uses nor adversely impact on the eating habits and diets of local people.
