Planning application submitted to extend Lafarge Caversham quarry

Lafarge Aggregates Ltd, the operators of the existing Caversham sand and gravel quarry, has submitted its planning application to Oxfordshire County Council to promote the next stage of development at the site. This would involve extracting 1.86Mt of sand and gravel from the Caversham Phase C (east of Spring Lane) extension.
