Planning obligation continues to serve useful purpose

The variation of two landscaping and boundary treatment conditions imposed on a planning permission for 85 dwellings in Cheshire was denied after an inspector concluded that there was little justification to vary the terms of a planning obligation relating to affordable housing provision.
