Quarry extension approved after consideration of impact on proposed CCS pipeline

An application to extend Gransmoor South quarry to enable the extraction of 616,000 tonnes of sand and gravel over 12 years has been approved by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council, despite a potential conflict with a proposed pipeline project.
