Restoration of former opencast sites continues in East Ayrshire

East Ayrshire Council has resolved to serve an enforcement notice to enable the restoration of the abandoned Garleffan and Grievehill opencast coal mine, while restoration of the Skares and Netherton mines has been concluded.
