Restoration - Leicestershire river set for biodiversity boost

A £20,000 project is helping to create a haven for river life in a Leicestershire country park based on former opencast working in the National Forest in a partnership between the Environment Agency, Forestry Commission, Lafarge and Sence Valley Volunteer Trust.
