Retrospective action taken against gatepier removal after 20 years

The Welsh Assembly government agreed with one of its inspector and upheld a listed building enforcement notice requiring the reinstatement of a gatepier and stone pineapple finial at a house in south Wales concluding that their removal had undermined its architectural importance.
