South Wales quarry extension refused against officer advice

Rhondda Cynon Taf Council resolved on 9 July to refuse permission for an extension to Craig Yr Hesg quarry, Pontypridd, because a 200-metre buffer zone could not be achieved between the quarry and nearby sensitive development.
