Static holiday caravan & chalet parks Q & A DCP Section 24.2

This section covers static caravan and chalet parks where units are used only for holiday purposes. Such units are either let by the week by park operators or are owned privately as holiday bases, and normally remain on site all the year round. Units usually stand on concrete bases with services "plugged in". Situations where single holiday caravans are sited on odd plots of land or in gardens are covered in (24.6), and holiday accommodation in permanent buildings is considered at (9.5).
