Surrey County Council resolves to approve sand extraction after applying Kides protocol

Surrey County Council has reaffirmed a decision to grant permission for the extraction of 770,000 tonnes of sand and 512,000 cubic metres of clay from Alton sandpit, Farnham, followed by restoration of the void by infilling until 2029.
