More time allowed for minerals extraction at Thrislington quarry

Durham County Council has approved an application to extend the timescale for extracting the remaining 5.4 million tonnes of magnesian limestone reserves and 2.4Mt of basal Permian sand at Thrislington quarry until 2030.
