Waste management facility

The SOS has granted permission for an integrated waste management facility (IWMF) including an anaerobic digestion plant for the treatment of mixed organic waste, a materials recycling facility for mixed dry recyclable waste, a mechanical biological treatment plant for the treatment of residual municipal, commercial and industrial wastes to produce a solid recovered fuel and a combined heat and power plant to use the SRF.
