Wind farm extension in line with Scottish renewables target

An application for an extension to a previously consented wind farm in Aberdeenshire made under section 36 of the Electricity Act 1989 comprising nine additional turbines was granted consent, the Scottish Ministers being satisfied that it would not result in unacceptable harm to the landscape or ecological or aviation interests.
