Windfarm ruled out in degraded landscape

A proposal to site twelve 145m high wind turbines and a permanent meteorological mast in the Trent washlands in Nottinghamshire for 25 years was rejected after an inspector found that landscape harm was not adequately counterbalanced by plans to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
